Main responsibilities:

  • Defines and updates the long-term sales plan and the sales budget;
  • Acts as a point of contact to solve the customer’s requirements related to prices, sales contract, warranty conditions, quality commitments;
  • Responsible for prospecting the market to develop the customers’ portfolio;
  • Establishes and develops high-level contacts with the customers’ representatives of different services: Acquisitions / Quality / Engineering;
  • Manages the price negotiations with the customers;
  • Organizes regular presentations at the customers’ headquarters (at least once a year);
  • Carries out the analysis of the targeted sector;
  • Proposes product strategies and a pricing policy to meet the objectives of resilience and turnover growth;
  • Defines and issues a monthly activity report;
  • Ensures the settlement of payment issues;
  • Establishes and defines a cost reduction plan (technical and commercial productivity);
  • Checks the prices of the customers’ registered in GALION;
  • Monitors the customers’ requirements through the IATF website;
  • Communicates to the competent departments the customers’ new requirements to optimize the flows.

The ideal candidate:

  • Technical bachelor degree – preferably engineering;
  • Previous relevant experience in the commercial area (sales/purchases) in the industry- minimum 8 years (3 years of management or project management in the commercial field);
  • Knowledge of the IATF requirements and specific customers’ requirements related to the commercial activity (contract review, feasibility, etc.);
  • Superior command of English (French – is an advantage);
  • Extroverted personality with good communication and relationship skills;
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
